THEATRICAL GROUP OF CARDIOLOGY CENTER ACQUIRED OFFICIAL STATUS

According to Eduard Alexandrovich, the drama school was set up in 2004, when the group presented its first considerable performance, which was based on the history of Ancient Greece. That year the drama school also gained its first victory in the contest among regional medical institutions of Tyumen. Then the group participated in the festival of the Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted among working youth and won the second prizewinning place.

Denis Ivascshenko, a member of the drama school, told us about recent progress of the Cardiology Center actors. In November, 2008 the drama school took part in the III Art festival that was held among workers of regional health services and was dedicated to the 60^th Anniversary of the Regional Trade Union Council and the Family Year. The Drama School of the Cardiology Center was awarded the second prize in the nomination of Theater of Small Performances, and Nikolaj Melnikov, an intern of the Ultrasound Diagnostics Department, won the prize as the Best Actor.

Moreover, the school won the second prize in the Festival of Creative Working Youth and took four second places in different nominations. A special emphasis was made on their performance in “Original Genre”: the actors of the Cardiology Center presented a play in the genre of “fusion” (blend of classics and medical knowledge).

Today the actors have plenty of creative plans: not only to participate in the city and regional competitions, but also to organize different festivals, such as New Year, International Women Day, the Day of Medical Workers and so on.
