TYUMEN AND KAZAN CONTINUE TO DEVELOP COOPERATION

According to preliminary data, it is expected that there will be more than 200 participants (cardiologists, electrophysiologists, therapists, specialists in functional diagnostics) from Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and other nearby areas. Within the conference a school for physicians and round table discussion will take place. Faculties include specialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tyumen and Novosibirsk. Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Zakievich Farrakhov will make a welcome speech at the opening.
Prof. Alexander Yu. Rychkov, scientific supervisor of the Department of Heart Rhythm Disturbances at Tyumen Cardiology Center will deliver an oral presentation on antithrombotic therapy in atrial fibrillation. Tyumen Cardiology Center will also present its stand and informational materials at the conference.

It should be mentioning that it`s not the first visit of Tyumen specialists to Kazan. In December 2011 the 1^st scientific and practical conference “Cardiology at a Crossroads of Sciences: Advances and Prospects” was held there. It was organized jointly by Tyumen Cardiology Center and the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Tatarstan.
