No contraindications exist to performing ultrasound examinations, and their high efficacy makes it possible to detect the slightest impairments in the work of internal organs. In our Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics, ultrasound examinations of almost all human organs and systems are carried out: blood vessels (veins and arteries), internal organs, urinary system and adrenal glands, joints, thyroid gland, as well as ultrasound for women, including pregnant women.
The priority direction of the department's work is cardiac investigation and diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases. In order to do that advanced methods are used: echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography.
All examinations are carried out by highly qualified specialists in ultrasound diagnostics: doctors of the highest and first categories, candidates and doctors of medical sciences with vast experience.
Our professionals use devices of the expert-class with a full range of sensors, extended program on cardiology, color Doppler mapping, and tissue Doppler. They allow evaluating blood flow velocity, conducting a 3D reconstruction and performing specialized examinations.
Since 2018, the department has been performing a puncture biopsy of thyroid gland under the control of ultrasound. In 2020, the department was replenished with a new medical device: Philips EPIQ which currently is the most large-duty device of all the devices ever used in ultrasound diagnostics. Only in our center in Tyumen! The EPIQ functionality allows for even better visualization of organs. The device has extended program on vascular examination, program for examining nerves and other technically demanding ultrasound procedures.
