Department of X-Ray Endovascular Diagnostics and Treatment # 2

Department of X-Ray Endovascular Diagnostics & Treatment #2  (DXED&T #2) was organized in 2011 in the structure of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center. The main field of the department work is interventional treatment of rhythm disturbances, chronic heart failure and sudden cardiac death prevention. One of the aims of the department is the work with the patients having obliteration atherosclerosis of lower extremities vessels.

The list of medical and diagnostic procedures performed at DXED&T #2.

Diagnostic:

•  endocardial electrophysiological examination of the heart in patients with tachyarrhythmias,

•  implantation of loop heart rate recorders,

•  angiography of the terminal aorta and vessels of the lower extremities

Medical:

•  installation of a temporary pacemaker,

•  implantation of one- and two-chamber pacemakers in patients with bradyarrhythmias,

•  implantation of one-, two- and three-chamber cardioverter-defibrillators in patients for the prevention of sudden cardiac death in life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias and for the treatment of chronic heart failure,

•  implantation of three-chamber pacemakers in patients with chronic heart failure,

•  radiofrequency ablation of the entire spectrum of cardiac arrhythmias, including using the technology of navigation mapping of arrhythmia substrates,

•  cryoablation of tachyarrhythmias, including cryoisolation of pulmonary veins,

•  angioplasty and stenting of lower extremities vessels in patients with obliterating atherosclerotic lesions.

Within the framework of its tasks DXED&T #2 has the complete set of the equipment for professional activities to provide modern high-tech medical care at the level of Russian and world standards.
