Children's Outpatient Department

At the Children’s Outpatient Department small patients get highly qualified care by pediatricians, cardiologists (including sport children’s cardiology), rheumatologists, neurologist, endocrinologist, pulmonologist, cardiovascular surgeon and physical exercise doctor.

Tatyana V. Chernysheva, MD, cardiologist of the highest category, Honoured Doctor of the Russian Federation, is the Head of the Department.

The department staff includes doctor of medical sciences, 4 candidates of medical sciences, doctors with the highest and first categories. They regularly improve their professional level: they participate in the biggest Russian and international congresses, in regional conferences with their colleagues, tightly cooperate with the leading federal centers of the Russian Federation. This approach allows to work according to the modern standards and keep up with the most innovative treatment methods in order to provide more efficient care to children. The department staff conduct scientific researches in the field of children sport cardiology and family hypercholesterolemia, publish their studies results in foreign and Russian peer-reviewed journals.

The modern equipment for ultrasound and functional examinations, which the department is equipped with, as well as the high qualification of doctors, make it possible to carry out high-quality diagnostics, including high-complexity examinations: Holter ECG monitoring for several days, transesophageal electrophysiological examination, stress tests (treadmill and bicycle ergometry), computed tomography, fetal ultrasound for pregnant women, children's ultrasound examinations of the nervous, digestive and urinary systems.

Our experts are confident that the most important qualities of a pediatrician are the ability to establish contact with young patients, a kind and affectionate attitude towards each child. The Tyumen Cardiology Research Center has assembled an excellent team of specialists who have high professionalism, vast experience, are able to solve complex issues collegially and, most importantly, love children endlessly.

Every year, the pediatric service receives about 8.000 babies and teenagers, and about 4.000 ultrasound examinations are performed for children.
