Brief biography
In 1992, Dmitry Vladislavovich graduated from General Medicine Faculty of Tyumen State Medical Institute. He completed Cardiology residency in 1994, later in 2009, D. Krinochkin completed training in Functional Diagnostics specialty, then in Ultrasound Diagnostics (2010). Since 1994 he worked as a Junior Scientific Researcher in the Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics of the Scientific Department of Instrumental research methods, a doctor of Ultrasound diagnostics at Research Institute of Clinical and Preventive Cardiology. In 1996-2002, he worked as an ultrasound and functional diagnostics specialist, Head of Ultrasound and Functional diagnostics healthcare unit. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in cardiology in 1996.
Since 2002, he has been working as a doctor of ultrasound diagnostics, Head of Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics, Senior Scientific Researcher at Instrumental Diagnostics Laboratory of the Scientific Department of Instrumental research methods at Tyumen Cardiology Research Center - Branch of Tomsk National Research Medical Center.

Research Interests
D.V. Krinochkin is the author of over 250 research papers, 5 patents for the invention of new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

D. Krinochkin`s scientific interests lie in the area of pathogenetic peculiarities of myocardial fibrosis and left atrial thrombosis formation in patients with non-valve atrial fibrillation; studying of relationship of fibrosis estimated by the method of electroanatomical mapping of the left atrium and fibrosis biomarkers with processes of structural and functional remodeling of the heart; studying the processes of thrombogenesis in the left atrium: the role of disorders in the hemostatic system, genetic polymorphism of blood coagulation factors, inflammation and fibrosis of the left atrium; identifying predictors and creating a model for predicting left atrial thrombosis; development of a personalized approach to prescribing anticoagulant therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation.

He was awarded a Letter of Appreciation and a Certificate of Honor (2005,2006) of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences for many years of conscientious and impeccable work in the field of medical science and healthcare, for a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of Tyumen Region, Certificate of Merit from the Department of Health of the Tyumen Region (2007), and Certificate of Honor from Department of Education and Science of the Tyumen Region (2010), Certificate of Honor of the Governor of the Tyumen Region (2012). In 2013, 2014, 2017 he awarded a Letter of Gratitude of the Tyumen Cardiology Research Center;
