Over the course of three days, experts from Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, in addition to traditional topics, shared with their colleagues the most pressing problems on medical technologies and achievements, results of original scientific research, discussed topics on enhancement of prevention methods, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
It should be mentioned that leading Russian and foreign speakers presented modern view concerning problems such as arterial hypertension, prevention and treatment of thrombosis, medical rehabilitation, sleep disorders, heart rhythm disorders, ultrasound examination of the heart and blood vessels of the legs, pediatric cardiology, in particular prenatal diagnosis of heart defects and admission into sport activities participation among children with cardiovascular pathology. For the first time, symposium of the Russian Society of Cardiology, the largest research organization in the field of cardiology in Russia, was held. There was a symposium dedicated to digital cardiology and artificial intelligence in medicine with presentations by scientists from Sechenov University, experts from Kazan and Tyumen.
All data were presented in the context of modern clinical recommendations and illustrated with interesting cases from the real practice of lecturers. Congress 2023 was held in person and online. That was realy a unique opportunity to gain advanced knowledge, exchange experience with leading experts, took part in discussions, and improve your professional skills.
The Congress was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Department of Health of the Tyumen Region, Department of Education and Science of the Tyumen Region.
Within the Congress Poster presentation was held in form of competition, where the 1st place was taken by the report of scientists from Minsk (Belarus) “Predictors of atrial electrical dysfunction and atrial fibrillation in patients with heart failure” (Vaykhanskaya T.G., Koptyukh T.M., Gevorkyan T.T., Apanasevich V.V., Frolov A.V.); the 2nd place – “Features of the structure of atherosclerotic plaques according to optical coherence tomography in patients with coronary heart disease living in the Far North”, Tyumen (Utegenov R.B., Bessonov I.S.), the 3rd place of honor went to a specialist from Tomsk with the work named “Ischemic responses to stress according to stress echocardiography in patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation of low and moderate risk” (Abramenko E.E., Ryabova T.R., Ryabov V.V.). Moreover, in the frame of our arrangement the competition of young scientists took place: the 1st place was taken by Stanislav Viktorovich Dil with his work “Intracoronary administration of epinephrine for the refractory No-reflow phenomenon in patients with acute myocardial infarction online (Tomsk); 2nd place – Alfiya Ravisovna Mingalimova and her report “A new method for predicting the likelihood of developing atrial fibrillation at the hospital stage after coronary artery bypass surgery in patients of low surgical risk” (Moscow); 3rd place – Nikita Olegovich Litskevich “Comparative characteristics of patients with infective endocarditis of native valves” (St. Petersburg).
The Congress Organizing Committee thanked all the specialists who were able to find the time to visit our event in person or join it online in order to improve their professional level along with the invited experts.
We hope that knowledge gained at the Congress will contribute to the further fruitful work of specialists helping patients with cardiovascular diseases throughout Russia!
