Ivan Bessonov, MD, PhD, interventional cardiologist of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center delivered an oral presentation at the Congress. He told about Tyumen experience of direct stenting strategy in patients with acute myocardial infarction.

Besides, another interventional cardiologist from Tyumen Cardiology Research Center Stanislav Sapozhnikov, MD, PhD had 2 poster presentations at the Congress. He told about the method solving complicated problems that may appear in case of hi-tech vessel interventions using transradial access.

Also Dr. Sapozhnikov showed complicated clinical cases and results of rotational atherectomy (rotablation), a procedure to provide a quick and effective care to the vessels seriously damaged by calcific plaques.
