All-Russian Conference “Functional diagnostics – 2014”

Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center Prof. Vadim Kuznetsov participated in the conference “Functional diagnostics – 2014” which was held within the International Forum “Medical diagnostics – 2014” in Moscow. The main organizer of the conference is the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

Prof. Kuznetsov presented the report “The Value of Handheld Limited Echocardiography” on the session “New diagnostic methods and innovations in functional diagnostics”.
Leading experts from medical academies, institutes, medical organizations and medical equipment manufacturers were invited to participate in the Conference. The eminent specialists delivered lectures, held workshops with the demonstration of the recent scientific and technical achievements in the topical issues of functional diagnostics. There were 15 scientific sessions on different subjects arranged within the Conference wh ere the colleagues discussed the most important and widely used study methods in cardiology, angiology, pulmonology, neurology and other areas of medicine. In addition, the technologies that are not widespread yet were also the topic of discussions.
Traditionally, the scientific program was mostly dedicated to the ultrasound diagnostics of patients with cardiovascular and lung diseases, the complex examination of the functions of organs and systems, as well as stress test of cardiovascular system, innovative, remote and other types of technologies. The participants were especially interested in the workshops on navigational brain stimulation and sensory testing.
