Head of the Primary Vascular Center of the City Clinical Hospital No 51 (Moscow) Prof. Dmitriy Zateyschikov highly appreciated the level of cardiology development in our region. “Tyumen region gets ahead of Moscow in many respects. Maybe we could follow your example to introduce something new.” He also communicated: “Special attention should be paid to patients with acute coronary syndrome who are to be admitted to a hospital as soon as possible. Nowadays 50% of people die at the first 90 minutes of the onset of the disease; that is why we must do everything to make our patients seek medical attention as early as possible – that is the only way to save their lives. It is important to educate the public about the necessity of emergency call in time. Medical community’s main task is to inform everybody about the symptoms of acute coronary syndrome, principles of behavior in the following situation and location of the nearest cardiology hospital.”
Population of Tyumen region today has an access to state-of-the-art technologies that enable to reestablish blood flow in the damaged artery quickly and effectively, thereby improve blood supply to the heart. Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center managed to obtain significant results in this regard. At the meeting Prof. V.A.
