Within the period of three days, experts from Russia, Belarus, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, in addition to traditional topics, shared with their colleagues news on the most serious issues in medical technologies and achievements, results of sophisticated scientific research, discussed topics on improvement of prevention approach, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Marina Igorevna Bessonova, the director of our Cardiology Research Center expressed her positive opinion about three days of thought-provoking symposiums, dynamic discussions, and workshops. She thanked members of Organizing Committee, all listeners, lecturers who ensured high level of the event and sponsors.
Congress 2023 brought together almost 2,000 unique viewers from nine countries and 122 cities, more than 4,000 thousand views have been registered as of today, 64 poster presentations and 143 abstracts were presented.
Results of the poster presentation competition: 1st place was taken by the report of scientists from Minsk (Belarus): “Predictors of atrial electrical dysfunction and atrial fibrillation in patients with heart failure” (T.G.Vaykhanskaya, T.M.Koptyukh, T.T.Gevorkyan, V.V.Apanasevich, A.V.Frolov); work “Features of the structure of atherosclerotic plaques according to optical coherence tomography in patients with coronary artery disease living in the Far North”, Tyumen (Utegenov R.B., Bessonov I.S.) took 2nd place, 3rd place was given to Tomsk specialist and his work “Ischemic responses to load according to stress echocardiography in patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST segment elevation of low and moderate risk” (Abramenko E.E., Ryabova T.R., Ryabov V.V.).
Results of Young Investigators Competition: 1st place was taken by Stanislav Viktorovich Dil with his research “Intracoronary administration of epinephrine for the refractory No-reflow phenomenon in patients with acute myocardial infarction (Tomsk); 2nd place was deserved by Alfiya Ravisovna Mingalimova and her scientific project: “New method for predicting probability of atrial fibrillation development at hospital stage after coronary artery bypass graft surgery in patients of low surgical risk” (Moscow); Nikita Olegovich Litskevich took 3rd place for “Comparative characteristics of patients with infectious endocarditis of native valves” (St. Petersburg).
Before the Congress, championship among the most active participants was win by Anna Vadimovna Mikhailichenko, functional diagnostics specialist from Noyabrsk. The Congress Organizing Committee thanks all specialists who were able to find the time to visit our site in person or join it online in order to improve their level of professionalism together with invited experts of the event. We hope that the knowledge gained at the Congress will contribute to the further productive work of specialists helping patients with cardiovascular diseases throughout Russia!
