This year XX ROHMINE Congress (Russian Society of holter monitoring and non-invasive electrophysiology Congress) was held in Moscow on April 24-25.
Our researcher became the winner of young scientists contest. Lev Malishevskiy, Research Assistant of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center took part in the Contest of young specialists’ scientific researches and was deservedly ranked first.
Our scientific team offered a new diagnostics method of left bundle-branch block (a serious disease detected abnormities of the signal conducting from sinus node to ventricle, which leads to hemodynamic problems and disorder of internal organs functioning) during the patient selection for cardiac resynchronization therapy- methods of chronic heart failure treatment.
Lev Malishevskiy told, that a software application was developed to improve the patient surgery selection and rise criteria differentiation problem of left bundle-branch block, which proposed in clinical guideline by scientific groups and used in large studies.
Congress participants were cardiologists, pediatricians, specialists of functional diagnosis from different Russian regions. They found out about the results of recent electrocardiology researches and shared their experience.
An overview of main topics at the Congress is usually in the field of learning: cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, coronary heart disease, syncopal states and many others. Particular attention was paid to sports cardiology, problems of sudden cardiac death, basic resuscitation, implementation of automated external defibrillator. This year program was expanded to include pediatric cardiology.
