VIII International Forum of Cardiology and Internal medicine was held in Moscow fr om 27 to 29 March 2019, where our experts made oral presentations.
Our Scientist Ekaterina V. Akimova, MD, PhD, Head of the Laboratory of Epidemiology and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease was one of the Symposium Chairs "Risk factors, epidemiology and organization of health care."
She also made an oral presentation “Nonconventional risk factors for cardiovascular diseases in open populations of the middle urbanized Siberian city.”
Our scientific researchers investigated the interaction between the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and psychosocial risk factors. There are several psychosocial risk factors: depression, vital exhaustion and hostility. In other words, our specialists explored that mental condition of personality affects on cardiac disease progression. Obtained result can serve a scientific basis for elaboration and implementation of socially orientated prevention programs in Tyumen and others Siberian cities.
Moreover Alexander Akimov, our Scientific Researcher, PhD, made an oral presentation, where he proved that information awareness of the cardiovascular disease risk factors in male patients with higher education significantly reduces the number of affected persons within this category.
The investigation identified the correlation between social support and the treatment effectiveness: less morbidity of cardiovascular disease was registered in individuals with high level of social integration.
International Forum of Cardiology and Internal medicine was held with support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), World Heart Federation, Federal State Institution "National Medical Research Center for Preventive Medicine" of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation Russian foundation for the advancement of cardiology "Cardioprogress". Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry joined the organizers of the Forum this year.
Academicians of RAS: Oganov R.G. and Belenkov U.N., Kukharchuk V.V. corresponding member of the RAS took part in opening ceremony. 530 cardiac specialists, interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, neurologists, pulmonologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists and physicians from 47 Federal subjects of Russia and the countries near abroad (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan) participated in the Forum.
Special attention was payed to problems of clinical examination of population and cardiac health service arrangement, cardiac arrhythmias, rehabilitation and concomitant diseases. Young scientists took part in symposium in the frame of International Forum scientific program, wh ere there were made reports by ten participants under 35 y.o. from various cities of Russian Federation and and the CIS countries.
