Congratulations on the occasion of Professor`s jubilee

Liudmila Gapon has been working for Tyumen Cardiology Research Center since the day of establishment for 33 years. Our unique scientific-clinical-pedagogical complex, scientific school on studying of arterial hypertension development and its clinical course (in areas of the Far North and the West Siberian region) were formed due to L. Gapon`s huge contribution, high intellect and an exceptional talent. She gained a lot of respect from foreign and Russian scientists. Moreover, our scientist`s study results draw significant attention of Russian and foreign specialists.

Professor Liudmila Gapon: “I am a physician before anything else”.

Cardiology is one of few medical fields with a large evidence base: plenty of researches proves every phrase. In L. Gapon`s point of view, cardiology is an interesting and a perspective treatment direction in Russia. Cardiology is a modern science and Tyumen Cardiology Research Center is functioning as European centers. Attending international Conferences, our scientists understand, our scientific works aren’t worse foreign scientists demonstrate, we speak the same language with colleagues. Our center has a high level of aid provision; we can do a lot for our patients and we are proud of that.

L. Gapon`s lectures on up to date issues of modern cardiology for physicians of Tyumen and Tyumen region are always very popular and traditionally assemble a large audience. She is an honored lecturer at different all-Russian conferences and congresses; presented many studies abroad. Clinicians often get very professional Professor`s consultations concerning challenging clinical cases. L. Gapon is around patients, colleagues, students every day. Being a national expert on arterial hypertension, L. Gapon manages intern-physicians, trainees, attending physicians, trains cardiologists on practical healthcare provision in the Tyumen region.

L. Gapon is an author of over 500 scientific researches, 3 monographs on pathogenesis of an arterial hypertension, co-author of seven invention patents. Many years of medical practice, professional intuition, researcher`s talent, great energy and a strong desire to get to the truth, an excellent manner of teaching are an explanation of the professor`s authority.
