More than 500 specialists in the field of cardiology, oncology, mental health, pharmacology, therapy, X-ray endovascular diagnostics and treatment, ultrasound and functional diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics, representatives of higher education institutions from 10 countries took part in the Congress: Russia (30 cities, 11 settlements and 6 districts of the Russian Federation), Belarus, Belgium, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic. An online broadcast of the Congress sessions was organized, registered more than 500 site visitors.
Along with the well-known Russian faculties, leading foreign scientists, including Professor Eli Ovsyshcher, Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory of the Ben-Gurion University (Israel), Professor Vito Maurizio Parato from the School of Medicine of the Marche Polytechnical University and the Madonna del Soccorso Hospital (Italy) , Dr. Kamil Sedlacek from the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (Czech Republic), Dr. Michal Chudzik from the Department of Cardiology of the Medical University of Lodz (Poland), Dr. Jonas Jarasunas from Klaipeda Seamen’s Hospital (Lithuania) visited Tyumen.
Within 2 Plenary Sessions, 12 Symposia («Medical Treatment or Stenting», International Symposium of Echocardiography and Functional Diagnostics, «Psychical Disorders in Cardiology Practice», «Innovations in Emergency Cardiology», International Symposium of Heart Arrhythmias, «Invasive Treatment of Heart Failure», Symposium on Cardio-Oncology, International Symposium of Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound, «Update in Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Coronary Syndrome», «Population Phenotypes of Cardiovascular Diseases Among the Inhabitants of Russia - Siberia», «Anticoagulant Therapy in Comorbid and Elder Patients with Atrial Fibrillation», «Update in Ultrasound Imaging of Blood Vessels»), Workshop «Practical Aspects of Antithrombotic Therapy Choice in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation in Various Clinical Cases» 66 presentations were delivered. 41 abstracts took part in the Posters Session Competition.The Congress received accreditation in the system of continuous medical education (18 credits).Abstracts Book containing 230 works was published.
The work of the Congress was widely covered in the mass media (radio, TV, electronic and printed editions) in Moscow, Tyumen, the south of the Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and adjacent regions: Sverdlovsk, Omsk, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk and so on.
