On February 9 a scientific seminar «Endovascular treatment of bifurcation lesions of coronary arteries» was held at Tyumen Cardiology Research Center. Specialists on X-ray and endovascular diagnostics and treatment from the leading clinics of the Ural Federal District delivered their presentations and discussed clinical cases.
Dr. Zyryanov described technical aspects of bifurcation lesions stenting. He said, “It is an operative therapy of complicated lesions of coronary arteries and of course each specialist follows his own treatment tactics. But there can be changes during the intervention. In this case all decisions should be taken very quickly. I hope this event will give a start to the bifurcation society in the Ural region, the same as the European society of scientists having an interest to the clinical, technical and fundamental aspects of bifurcation lesions of coronary arteries.” Specialists from Kurgan, Tobolsk and Tyumen discussed complicated clinical cases.
It is important to announce that the All-Russian scientific conference “Endovascular treatment of complicated forms of CAD” will be held in Tyumen on 30-31 of March for the first time. The event will include practical educational course for young specialists with live broadcast of the operations. More than 350 participants including Russian and foreign scientists are expected such as B.
