Maksim Kicherov, the first prize winner of the “Brainiac” competition, was awarded with a grant of 500 000 roubles (by Innovation Promotion Fund) to design a program for echocardiography data management.
Sergey Diachkov, Postgraduate, Junior Scientific Researcher of Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics, and Georgiy Pushkarev, MD, Scientific Researcher, ultrasound diagnostics specialist of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center are managing his work.
Sergey Diachkov clarified, “The study we are working at is designed for the echocardiography data. The project will allow to calculate diagnostic values, emphasize injury area, etc. Due to this program diagnostics of cardiovascular diseases will improve; the program will construct 3-D models automatically. Thus, human factor in diagnosis statement will be almost eliminated.”
