Anna Soldatova said, “I have been dreaming of visiting this Festival since I was a teen when I first heard about it from my grandmother and grandfather who remembered Festivals of 1957 and 1985.As a medical scientist, I was mostly interested in the innovations in this field. I gladly visited the session on innovations and I was impressed by “genetic passport of health” which will help doctors to prevent diseases; new imaging methods; artificial intellect in health care. It is the nearest future and we will have it in 10-15 years. I can say also about incredible atmosphere of the Festival; all of us were so different: of various nationalities, specialties, languages and everyone were united by one mission. I was really excited by the will of everyone to work together. I am grateful to the management of Tomsk NRMC for this possibility to be at the Festival, meet interesting people and agree about common projects!”

There was one more participant from Tyumen Cardiology Research Center. It was Sergey Diachkov, Junior Scientific Researcher, young scientist of laboratory of instrumental diagnostics, postgraduate of Tyumen State University. "Festival was the meeting place of the most active and outstanding young people of the world. Organizers created the best conditions for informal communication, opinions exchange and discussions. One of the educational programs directions was development of the future world and technologies in the long-term perspective. It is incredibly interesting! The results were presented at the close meeting with Vladimir Putin. In the first place I was astonished by the greatness of the event and its speakers: from the Noble Prize Winner in physics and heads of the huge companies to the famous actors, filmmakers and other celebrities."

Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, applied to the participants at the closing ceremony, saying that the projects presented at the Festival in Sochi should be economically practical to be implemented, because many inventions are not applied due to their high price. He said, “Only the ones who can accumulate knowledge from different areas and effectively implement them for solving issues will get absolute advantage”. There is no doubt that participating in this event of young scientists from Tomsk NRMC is a precious experience which will be useful in practice when implementing projects of young scientists.

Thanks to the Russian Academy of Sciences, management of Tomsk NRMC and Tyumen State University for the invitation and opportunity of participation of our scientists in the Festival.
