On 24-25 May a meeting of cardiologists took place in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) where scientists of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center presented their reports.
Natalia Khorkova, MD, PhD, an arrhythmologist, scientific researcher, pointed out, ‘My report was devoted to the results of catheter ablation having atrial fibrillation within the last 3 years in out department. I was asked many questions about efficiency and safety of this procedure and also about therapy and managing patients after it. Tashkent physicians have less experience of observing patients but ultrasound diagnostics is quite better developed. We gladly share our experience with colleagues.’
During the meeting young scientists’ competition was held. Alfira Minulina, MD, Junior Scientific Researcher of Arrhythmology department participated in it and she was awarded with 3rd prize diploma.
Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Research Center were also awarded with honorable diploma for extraordinary work in cardiology. ‘We were admitted in a very warm way, people here are very friendly and hospitable,’ added Dr. Khorkova.
