VIII International Congress «Cardiology at a Crossroad of Sciences» which took place within 24 – 26 May and traditionally gathered the leading Russian and foreign specialists has finished its work. This year during these three days more than 600 people from 9 countries of the world participated in the Congress, abstract book contains 228 abstracts, more than 300 people watched online live broadcasting of the event.
The main idea of the Congress was to present all possibilities of the complex approach to prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and their comorbidities. More than 100 lectures and presentations were devoted to innovations in ultrasound diagnostics, congenital heart diseases, issues of sudden death in children and in sports, opportunities of high-tech treatment, issues of efficiency of modern medications, innovations in genetics, et.al.
The next congress «Cardiology at a Crossroad of Sciences» will be held in Tyumen in May 2018.
