On 7-9 of May ICNC 2017 was held in Vienne (Austria); this event is organized by American Society of Nuclear Cardiology together with European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and European Association of Nuclear Medicine once in two years. 40 scientific sessions were open for more than 600 participants from 20 countries of the world. At three poster sessions 250 poster presentations were delivered. Russia was introduced by scientists from Moscow, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk and Tyumen.
Elena Yaroslavskaya, MD, an ultrasound diagnostics specialist, Senior Scientific Researcher from Tyumen Cardiology Research Center, delivered a poster presentation. She said, «Our presentation arose a great interest. It was devoted to the method of artificial neural networks for noninvasive reveal of CAD in patients with myocardial perfusion defects.»
It is interesting that presentations contained not only nuclear methods, but also electro and echocardiography. 22 cases from the clinical practice were discussed. This conference has been a key event in nuclear cardiology for more than 20 years; clinicians and scientists from all over the world have the opportunity to learn new approaches, exchange experience and scientific ideas in this sphere.
