Elena Gultyaeva: "How to find a way to every patient"

She was born in physicians' family. Her father, Pavel Shevchenko, is a famous doctor and one who organized health care service in the Tyumen region.

Elena Gultyaeva has been working in the Tyumen Cardiology Research Center more than 20 years. There she started her professional path in medicine and succeed as a cardiologist and a scientist. Today Elena Gultyaeva is one of the leading researchers of the Center. She is well-respected among her colleagues and patients. Since 2012 she has been running the Outpatient Department.

Elena Gultyaeva is actively involved in a process of implementation of modern high-tech diagnostic methods and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. She initiated a follow-up monitoring program for people who had balloon coronary angioplasty surgeries. The program has been realized since 2003. For many years Elena Gultyaeva has been heading the Commission on selection of patients for a surgical treatment.

Elena Gultyaeva as a successful scientist conducts research work at the premises of the Arterial Hypertension and Coronary Insufficiency Department. She publishes her research findings in scientific journals and takes active part in regional and international research conferences. Moreover, she supervises annual social actions for an early detection and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Just as well she works as a sports cardiology expert. The work of E. Gultyaeva was repeatedly awarded by Certificates of Merit and Letters of Gratitude at the regional and national levels.
