Bodybuilding sportsmen checked their health at Tyumen Cardiology Research Center

On August, 9 Outpatient Department has conducted complex examination of participants of the Championship – sportswomen of the oldest Tyumen athletic club «Antey» which has long-term cooperation with Tyumen Cardiology Research Center within projects for the healthy lifestyle. During the examination the sportswomen had their blood taken for the biochemical analyses, they had echocardiography, ECG and other examinations done. Elena Gultyaeva, MD, Head of the Outpatient Department, cardiologist of the higher category, the Leading Scientific Researcher, gave consultations to the sportswomen. She explained in the interview that professional sport is strongly connected with intensive physical load, and health of the sportsmen should always be controlled by the doctors. So, regular preventive examinations are necessary to be done in the professional sports. Sport should be safe.

Participants of the forthcoming Championship are very responsible about the preventive examinations. Azalia Duzbakieva, one of the sportswomen, shared her opinion: «Heart lives under the heavy load, specially, during the preparation period for the competitions. Cardiology Center is a professional institution where we could get a complex diagnostics of cardiovascular system. You should not avoid regular examinations as it is important to be confident in your health». Tyumen sportsmen including football players, biathletes, hockey players, Paralympians get regular complex examination at Tyumen Cardiology Research Center.
