Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center was awarded with the Order of Merit for Medicine and Healthcare

XX solemn ceremony of conferment of winners of All-Russian National Award “Professionals – pride of Russia” was held on June 10 in Moscow. The award is devoted to highlight considerable contribution of Russian specialists and companies into various fields – education, construction, housing services and utilities, healthcare, et.al. Since the foundation of the Award in 2009, the Order of Merit for Medicine and Healthcare was given to Vadim Kuznetsov, MD, PhD, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center for the first time. Contribution of Vadim Kuznetsov into cardiology in the Tyumen region is enormous. Under his supervision modern methods of treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases are implemented; new unique technologies are designed; scientific researches are performed. Due to work of Tyumen Cardiology Center staff cardiovascular death rate in the region has been decreased in the recent years.
