Annual scientific conference «Cardiology: achievements and perspectives» took place on March 24 in Kurgan. Colleagues from Tyumen and Kurgan discussed issues, achievements and new approaches to treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases. About 40 cardiologists and therapists from Kurgan and Kurgan region visited this event.
Issues under discussion: hi-tech innovations in cardiology, congestive heart failure update (several years ago patients with CHF were considered hopeless), modern drug treatment of acute coronary syndrome, etc. Many experts delivered their lectures. Among them are Myasnik Arabkhanyan, Head of Department of X-ray and Surgical Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment at Kurgan Regional Cardiology Health Center; Professor Ludmila Gapon, Head of Scientific Division of Clinical Cardiology at Tyumen Cardiology Center, Honored Scientific Researcher of Russian Federation; Natalia Musikhina, Head of Department of Emergency Cardiology at Tyumen Cardiology Center, Ivan Bessonov, interventional cardiologist of Department of X-ray Surgical Methods for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease No.1 at Tyumen Cardiology Center and Natalia Khorkova, arrhythmologist at Tyumen Cardiology Center.
It is worth saying that annually several hundreds of Kurgan region citizens visit Tyumen Cardiology Center for treatment. Thus, in 2015 more than 500 Kurgan citizens received here outpatient and quick hi-tech care, also for the federal budget means (as per quotas).
