On 25-26 February All-Russian conference on coronary complications «Samko-2016» devoted to prevention and treatment of coronary arteries complications after interventions was held in Moscow.
Lectures of 20 leading Russian specialists in interventional cardiology and X-ray and endovascular surgery were presented at the conference. Organizers highlight that interactivity was one of the peculiarities of this event. Participants had a chance to discuss their practical experience within a lively dispute.
Stanislav Sapozhnikov, a surgeon of X-ray and endovascular diagnostics and treatment of Tyumen Cardiology Center was awarded with a memorable prize and diploma for the best presentation. He said, ‘We presented a clinical case when an unusual and complicated situation occurred during primary balloon angioplasty to a patient with acute coronary syndrome. Recommendations of solving unpredictable issues do not exist, thus success of the operation depends only on qualified and quick actions of a surgeon. Colleagues and I have found a solution and hit the target.’
