Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center took part in the work of XII International Congress on cardiac pacing and electrophysiology «Cardiostim-2016» which was held on 18-20 February in Saint-Petersburg.
Every two years scientific forum is visited by specialists in diagnostics and treatment of heart rhythm disturbances, congestive heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases. This year 718 participants from Russia and other foreign countries have been to the Congress.
Vadim Kuznetsov, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, Professor, Aleksandr Rychkov, MD, PhD, Deputy Director for scientific work, Natalia Khorkova, MD, a cardiologist, Tatiana Enina, MD, PhD, a cardiologist, Senior Scientific Researcher at Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics and Aleksandr Pavlov, an interventional cardiologist, delivered oral presentations. Also 4 posters were presented at the Congress.
Within the Congress XII All-Russian Conference on cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, XI All-Russian Symposium «Diagnostics and treatment of arrhythmia in children», IX International Symposium «Medical electronic monitoring, diagnostics, therapy» and IV All-Russian Symposium on diagnostics and treatment of dysplastic heart were held as well.
The Congress is held under the patronage of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, All-Russian scientific society of specialists on clinical electrophysiology, arrhythmology and pacing, G. F. Lang Saint-Petersburg scientific society of cardiology and Health Committee of Saint-Petersburg Government. The President of the Congress is Academician, president ВНОА Revishvili A.S. (Moscow).
