One of the greatest world scientific events in cardiovascular imaging International Congress “EuroEcho-Imaging 2015” took place in Seville, Spain within 2-5 December. Annually more than 3500 participants from many countries visit the Congress, organized by European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI).
The main theme of the Congress this year was “Cardiomyopathy and early cardiovascular diagnostics”. Physicians and scientists from different countries of the world presented their reports, results of their studies and discussed the latest achievements in echocardiography. This year the concept of the Congress has been changed. Presented reports were oriented not only on a disease or a patient but on a clinical picture. This approach allowed specialists to discuss efficiency of imaging in certain cases and reasonability of imaging in differential diagnostics.
Vadim Kuznetsov, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, introduced 3 poster presentations at the Congress:
• “Interventricular and intraventricular dyssinchrony in patients with Q-myocardial infarction” (Kuznetsov V. A., Krinochkin D.V., Plusnin A.V., Soldatova A. M.)• “Handgrip stress echocardiography with emotional component compared to conventional isometric exercise in coronary artery disease diagnosis” (Kuznetsov V. A., Krinochkin D. V., Yaroslavskaya E. I., Zacharova E. H., Pushkarev G. S.)• “Right ventricular dilatation in coronary artery disease patients with and without myocardial infarction” (Kuznetsov V. A., Yaroslavskaya E. I., Krinochkin D. V., Pushkarev G. S., Gorbatenko E. A.)
