On 10-13 November the VII Congress of the Russian Association of Experts of Ultrasound Diagnostics in Medicine (RAEUDM) took place in Moscow. Scientists of Tyumen Cardiology Center participated in one of the biggest events in the country which is held once in 4 years.
In the scientific part of the program Tyumen Cardiology Center was represented by Professor Vadim Kuznetsov, Director, and Elena Yaroslavskaya, specialist of ultrasound diagnostics, Senior Scientific Researcher. Vadim Kuznetsov presented a report “Echocardiography and aspects of coronary atherosclerosis”. Elena Yaroslavskaya delivered a lecture on gender differences of mitral regurgitation in patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis. “The program was very rich and included reports on all aspects of ultrasound diagnostics - cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, etc.” Elena said. “There were plenty of participants. Results of our researches attracted high interest among audience.”
Discussion on the latest achievements in ultrasound diagnostics, reports of the leading experts and experience exchange involved more than 5 000 specialists from Russia and States of the former Soviet Union. Scientific program of the Congress included plenary and sectional lectures and reports, discussions, symposiums of the biggest producers of equipment for ultrasound diagnostics and young investigators competition.
