In the beginning of November specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center organized a series of conferences “Cardiology – achievements and perspectives” in Tobolsk, Yalutorovsk and Ishim with support of Ministry of Healthcare of the Tyumen region. These annual meetings are held to discuss the latest methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases, to exchange experience, to set up directions of joint work in future.
This year Professor Liudmila Gapon, Honoured Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of Scientific Division of Clinical Cardiology, and Natalya Musikhina, Seniour Scientific Researcher, Head of Department of Emergency Cardiology, presented their reports. The main issues suggested by Tyumen scientists for discussion were diagnostics and treatment of arterial hypertension in patients of various age, modern treatment of coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus etc.
During many years physicians and scientists of Tyumen Cardiology Center have been keeping cooperation with specialists from other regions of Russia. The main target of the joint work is to improve quality and availability of cardiology care.
Within 9 months of 2015 clinic of Tyumen Cardiology Center provided care for 5811 patients, 990 people of them are from the northern regions of Russia.
