Tyumen cardiologists at the Russian National Congress in Moscow

Russian National Congress of Cardiology took place on September 22-25; it was organized by Russian Society of Cardiology with support of Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation.

The event is aimed at decrease of cardiovascular death rate by uniting efforts of Russian physicians and scientists. Within 4 days colleagues discussed up-to-date issues of modern cardiology, shared results of innovations in technology and presented new scientific researches. Totally 6179 people participated in the forum including experts from 28 countries and 1092 cities (Great Britain, the USA, Switzerland, France, Israel, Turkey, China, Lebanon, India, etc.).

Russian recommendations in echocardiography were under discussion at the Congress. Specialists of the Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics of Tyumen Cardiology Center took the most active part in the event. Professor Vadim Kuznetsov, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, presented a lecture about echocardiography examination of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Elena Yaroslavskaya, MD, Senior Scientific Researcher of Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics at Tyumen Cardiology Center, delivered a lecture “Estimation of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy” and Tatiana Enina, PhD, Senior Scientific Researcher of Laboratory of Instrumental Diagnostics, made a report at the session “Congestive heart failure and non-coronarogenic diseases of myocardium”. Our scientists have also prepared 2 poster presentations.

The next Russian National Congress of cardiologists is planned to be hold in 2016 in Ekaterinburg.
