On May 20-22 VI International Congress ‘Cardiology at a Crossroad of Sciences’ devoted to 30th anniversary of Tyumen Cardiology Center will be held in Tyumen. The event will take place within the year of fighting cardiovascular diseases declared by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

The forthcoming forum is held under the auspices of the Business Council of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. During 3 days cardiologists, therapeutists, surgeons, neurologists, endocrinologists and physicians of other specialties will discuss the latest achievements and issues of modern medicine, exchange experience, highlight the perspectives of cooperation. Outstanding cardiologists and scientists from Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tyumen, Tomsk, Kemerovo, etc.) and foreign countries (Great Britain, USA, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Belgium and Latvia) will deliver their lectures. It is remarkable that Timothy Timko, an interventional cardiologist, Executive Director of Mount Carmel Clinical Cardiovascular Specialists (Columbus, Ohio, USA) will visit Cardiology Center’ anniversary. During his first visit to Russia in 1995 Timothy Timko helped Tyumen interventional cardiologists to implement hi-tech treatment of coronary artery disease, such as balloon angioplasty and coronary arteries stenting.

«We are always doing our best to provide an interesting and useful work at the Congress» Vadim Kuznetsov, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, said, «Our team takes maximum efforts to invite to the Congress in Tyumen as many participants as possible. We hope that cardiologists will be able to apply received knowledge in their practical work».
