On March, 16 Anatoliy Karpov, deputy of the State Duma, and Andrey Artyukhov, First Vice-Chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma, made an official visit to Tyumen Cardiology Center. The meeting was organized due to the year of fighting cardiovascular diseases declared by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The guests were introduced to the modern functions of the clinic at the Department of X-ray and Surgical Methods of Diagnostics and Treatment №1 and Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics such as high-tech interventions and tests to treat and reveal cardiovascular diseases with the most up-to-date equipment.
One of the topics at the discussion was an actual issue of sport and heart health. Prof. Vadim Kuznetsov, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, explained his initiative to include diagnostic echocardiography with Doppler into the Russian program of testing of children going into sports to reveal pathologies of cardiovascular system. Now he is waiting for a reply from the Minister of Healthcare of Russia.
After his first visit to Tyumen Cardiology Center Anatoliy Karpov shared his impressions saying that he was glad to see the possibility to provide patients with hi-tech care and Cardiology Center is on the world level of development. “I wish strong health to everyone and in case of any disease you should see a doctor,” – Karpov advised.
