On 4th February the XXI session of Academic meeting of the Tyumen region traditionally devoted to the Day of Russian Science was held. Colleagues meet annually to discuss issues of modern science, technology, healthcare, ecology and other fields.
Participants of the session are members of Academic meeting, young scientists, representatives of research, project and educational organizations and also executive and legislative authorities. Last year meeting devoted to cardiovascular diseases was held in Tyumen Cardiology Center. Issues of Arctic region exploration, including selection and training of personnel for this work were on the agenda of Academic meeting-2015.
Greeting participants, Victor Rein, Vice-Chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma, highlighted that the Tyumen region is one of the most progressive regions for many indicators and in the nearest future special attention will be given to implementation of Tyumen scientific researches in oil and gas production, which is possible only at the condition of close cooperation between region government and scientific society.
Among the participants who delivered lectures were Anatoliy Brekhuntsov, General Director of OJSC “SibNATS”, the winner of USSR national award, Honored Geologist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Sciences (Geology and Mineralogy), actual member of the Academy of Mining Sciences. He told about the main directions of the Tyumen region integration. Prof. Vladimir Novosyolov, Doctor of Engineering, Principal of Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, Deputy of the Tyumen Regional Duma presented a lecture “Function of human resources capacity in the Arctic region exploration”.
Traditionally at the meeting ceremonial awarding of successful scientists of the region took place. Viktor Todosiychuk, MD, PhD, Head of Department of Functional Diagnostics of Tyumen Cardiology Center was awarded with certificate of gratitude from the Governor of the Tyumen region for contribution into social and economical development of the region and long-term dedicated work. Elena Logunova, Head of Foreign Relations Department, was awarded with certificate of gratitude from the Tyumen Regional Duma for long-term dedicated work and high professionalism. Congratulations!
