Tyumen Cardiology Center invites women of Tyumen to participate in the photo contest “Go Red for Women”

Russia supported the ten-year history educational society-oriented worldwide project “Go Red for Women”, which is aimed at informing women about exposure to heart diseases. In the context of this project the campaign “Go Red for Women” is being launched in Russia from June to September 2014. The organizer of this campaign – Russian Society of Cardiology (RSC) – invites Russian women to take part in the photo contest.

On the official website of RSC is reported that the main purposes of the campaign are to promote healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of cardiovascular risk factors among Russian women. The campaign is important due to the fact that women are homemakers who look after health of herself and her loved ones, whether it is a healthy diet, regular exercising or breaking off bad habits.

Tyumen Cardiology Center is supporting this campaign and suggests beautiful women of Tyumen to take part in the photo contest. Having become a participant and having subscribed to our pages on social networking sites you will learn more about heart diseases and will be able to help your relatives and friends to prevent its occurrence. The winner will get a chance to be on the cover of fall issue of “Cardioversion”, the corporate newspaper of Tyumen Cardiology Center.

Conditions of the contest:
To participate in the contest you should:
1. Take a picture in a red dress.

Why the red dress was chosen as the logo of the campaign?The red dress does not only symbolize femininity and elegance, but it is also the international symbol of women’s struggle for a healthy heart. It was introduced by American Heart Association.

The campaign “Go Red for Women” launched in Russia is supported by Russian Society of Cardiology, the educational society-oriented program “The Pulse of Life” and the consortium “Bayer”.
