On 12 April the conference “Cardiology Update” took place in Tobolsk, where the leading specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center met with the cardiologists and therapists of Tobolsk medical institutions.
The world-famous scientist, Head of Scientific Division of Clinical Cardiology of Tyumen Cardiology Center, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Professor Lyudmila I. Gapon told about new achievements and prospects of treatment of coronary artery disease, which is also called “the disease of the century”. Interventional cardiologist Dr. Alexander V. Pavlov talked about the possibilities of innovative technologies, which today allow not only to effectively treat, but also in many cases to save patients’ lives, who considered to be hopeless yesterday. Head of Department of Emergency Cardiology, Dr. Natalya A. Musikhina delivered a lecture devoted to the analysis of the clinical cases among high risk patients.
According to the common opinion of the participants, the conference allowed to learn about the most advanced technologies in the treatment of the patients with cardiovascular diseases and it was held at a high scientific and organizational level.Tyumen and Tobolsk doctors met not for the first time – the joint conferences are annually held in Tobolsk region. Apart from scientific meetings, the colleagues have spent major efforts to provide the patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases with timely hi-tech medical care.
