Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center visited one of the leading cardiology clinics of Poland

At the beginning of March Head Nurse of Tyumen Cardiology Center Anastasia Doroshenko and operating nurse Svetlana Dyuriagina underwent training course in Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan (Poland).

Main purpose of the trip was to study the experience of nursing service organization in the European clinic specializing in high-tech treatment of cardiovascular diseases. A. Doroshenko told: “First of all we were interested in the work of operating nurses. Technical findings for workflow automation, which can greatly facilitate the work of nurses were of the most interest. We hope that we will be able to apply some of them. We also found that our nurses work at the highest level and demonstrate the same degree of professionalism and accuracy as their Polish colleagues. As for discipline and sanitation, here we have achieved outstanding results.”Interventional cardiologist of Tyumen Cardiology Center Ivan Bessonov, MD also underwent training course in Poland, attended the operations and even assisted some of them. Ivan told that the work was very intensive; he stayed at the clinic for 12 hours daily and got a good experience in collaboration with Polish physicians.Our specialists are constantly improving their knowledge and experience by visiting leading world cardiology clinics, which undoubtedly contributes to the improvement of quality of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
