For several years our scientists have been taking prize-winning places at the contest of reports held within the Congress. This year the honorary diploma was given to junior scientific researcher of Instrumental Diagnostics Laboratory of Tyumen Cardiology Center Dr. Anna Soldatova. Her paper “Congestive heart failure and cardiac resynchronisation therapy: biochemical markers” was recognized one of the best among those represented at the Congress. In addition to the diploma Anna got a certificate for two educational courses at the leading clinics of Germany – to win such prize is a dream of every young cardiologist. “I’m fully satisfied with the results of our work, - said Anna. – The material that we presented aroused great interest and high appreciation of Russian and foreign cardiologists. It is a motivational force to persevere in the long-term.”Many our specialists, including V.E. Kharats, Head of Heart Rhythm Disturbances Department, G.V. Kolunin, Head of Cath Lab, arrhythmologist E.N. Dubrovskaya and doctor of Functional Diagnostics Department Yu.A. Yurkina made presentations at the Congress. Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center Professor Vadim Kuznetsov delivered a lecture and chaired the section of cardiac resynchronisation therapy.“We are still under the impression of the Congress, - told Ellona Dubrovskaya. – This year we heard many interesting reports on new indications to implantation of cardioverter defibrillator, on cardiac resynchronisation therapy and radiofrequency ablation, etiology of cardiovascular diseases.”It should be also noted that about 350 reports and lectures highlighting issues of modern treatment of heart rhythm disturbances and congestive heart failure were presented at the Congress. Numerous symposia and seminars, as well as exhibition of up-to-date diagnosis and treatment equipment were held.
