Poetic Autumn

Has our director Professor Vadim Kuznetsov ever thought that he would recite his poetry to the Literary Cenacle meeting?


Vadim Kuznetsov made his poetic debut on 29 October in the Institute of the Humanities, where he presented his third collection of poetry "My Tertia”. Exacting audience granted him a warm reception, everybody was interested in his poetry and called for the book of the well-know doctor and scientist.
As it turned out, there is a great many writers, poets and just literature-lovers in Tyumen. More than a hundred people of different professions, students and veterans came to benefit their evening in a good company; guests from Ishim and Nizhnyaya Tavda brought their songs and poetry.
Leonid K. Ivanov – a famous Tyumen writer, journalist and press attache of Tyumen State Oil and Gas University (TSOGU) was an initiator of such meetings. Due to his endeavour Tyumen writers today have an opportunity to share secrets of poetic mastery and discuss the novelties.
New books of our fellow-citizens Anatoliy Omelchuk and Natalia Tereb were presented at the meeting. Tyumen artist Yan Bome showed his beautiful paintings. Each member of the Literary Cenacle meeting received a present – a new issue of TSOGU’s literary miscellany “Arion”, which united short stories and poems of Literary Cenacle’s permanent members, as well as works of apprentice authors.
