One more candidate of medical science in Tyumen Cardiology Center

Invasive cardiologist and arrhythmologist of Heart Rhythm Disturbances Department Alexander V. Pavlov took a candidate’s degree (Ph.D.) in medicine.


Alexander Pavlov graduated with the award from Tyumen State Medical Academy in 2004, and in 2005 he took an internship in Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy on the basis of Tyumen Cardiology Center. Two more years later he graduated from internship in Tyumen State Medical Academy and postgraduate course in Cardiology Center. Alexander Pavlov underwent a study course in the leading scientific and clinical centers of Russia, USA and France. Since 2005 he has been working in Tyumen Cardiology Center as Junior Scientific Researcher of Instrumental Diagnostics Laboratory.
A.V. Pavlov successfully combines clinical and research work. He is an author of numerous scientific publications; delivered oral and poster presentations at scientific conferences in Russia and abroad. He has a patent for the invention, first-degree diploma in the regional contest “Leader in Scientific-Innovational Work” nomination for “Young Researchers”, Tyumen Region Governor’s note of thanks “For active part in research activity, creative approach in problem solving, connected with development of modern methods of diagnosis and treatment in cardiology.”
Alexander Pavlov is respected by everyone he works with; colleagues value him for conscientiousness, sense of responsibility, self-discipline and attention to patients. He always strives for rising his learning curve and professional practical skills. A.V. Pavlov got an academic rank for his thesis “The effect of cardiac resynchronization therapy in chronic heart failure.” The doctor mentioned that he started collecting the material for his work since he had come to Cardiology Center. He considers Ph.D. degree as an intermediate result of his work, because he is going to keep doing research in the future.
