Delegation of phycisians of Tyumen Cardiology Center visited Moscow

On June, 13-15 the V All-Russian Congress of Arrhythmology was held in Moscow, Russia. Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center headed by the director Prof. Vadim A. Kuznetsov participated in the Congress.


World-famous specialists in non-invasive and invasive arrhythmology, eminent cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons had been discussing actual problems of diagnostics, treatment and prevention of heart rhythm disturbance during three days of the meeting.
Within the Congress symposia devoted to the prevention of sudden cardiac death, diagnostics and treatment of atrial fibrillation, topical issues of pediatric arrhythmology, interventional and surgical treatment of tachyarrhythmias were held. President of the Congress was Leo Bockeria, Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
“We had 10 oral and 5 poster presentations, - Prof. Alexander Yu. Rychkov, Deputy Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center, Head of Heart Rhythm Disturbances and Pacing Department told. – Our Center looked very presentable, being the first-rate institution in the field of arrhythmology.” Prof. Rychkov also mentioned that this congress is the leading national forum and is held biennially.
The last day of the Congress was marked by young scientists’ competition, as well as debates and roundtable discussions with the involvement of key specialists of the country. The meetings of the Coordination Committee of the Center of Surgical and Interventional Arrhythmology at the Ministry of Health Care and the direction of All-Russian Society of Specialists in Clinical Electrophysiology, Arrhythmology and Pacing were held. Hot line “Live Issues of Arrhythmology – 2013” concluded the scientific program of the Congress.
