On May 5-8, 2013 the International Conference on Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Computed Tomography (ICNC 11) of European Society of Cardiology took place in Berlin (Germany). Prof. Vadim A. Kuznetsov, the Director of Tyumen Cardiology Center represented Tyumen at the meeting.

The Conference is a key international scientific event, which has been organized for more than 20 years. It provides the opportunity for practitioners from all over the world to learn about new advances and to exchange scientific ideas and experiences in a distinctive environment. During three days the meeting had provided an exciting and diversified scientific programme which offered a full spectrum of educational opportunities and original scientific research. Unique to this meeting was an even greater emphasis on presentations by young investigators.
Vadim A. Kuznetsov took part in the Conference with a poster presentation “Predictors of significant coronary lesions in patients with abnormal myocardial single photon emission computed tomography”. His research was devoted to the problem of diagnostics of ischemic heart disease in complicated and atypical cases. It was discovered that significant coronary artery stenosis in patients can be detected not only by the results of coronary angiography, but by echocardiography and scintigraphy of myocardium as well.
The Conference was organized jointly by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC); the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) and the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac Computed Tomography (ESC-WGNC).
