Tyumen Cardiology Center congratulates everybody with the day of Russian science

On February 7, 2013 XIX Academic Meeting of Tyumen region which is traditionally held on the eve of the Science Day took place in Tyumen West Siberian Innovation Center. Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center headed by the Director, Prof. Vadim A. Kuznetsov participated in the event.


Young scientists and postgraduate students, representatives of executive and legislative authorities, educational and design organizations met to sum up the results of the past year and to plan new scientific researches and developments.
The meeting was opened by Georgy V. Krylov, Chairman of Academic Meeting, Deputy Director of West Siberian Innovation Center on science, innovations and development and Natalia A. Shevchik, First Deputy Governor of Tyumen region. “Last year was a scientific success, - Georgiy Krylov noted. – Science developed in leaps and bounds due to merits of teams with inexhaustible source of innovative ideas and discoveries.”
Natalia Shevchik congratulated the guests on behalf of Governor of Tyumen region Vladimir V. Yakushev and emphasized that more and more young scientists day by day contribute a lot to the development of science. “It is an upward trend today, - mentioned Natalia Shevchik. I wish them to keep ardour, collaborate with each other and apply innovations that would improve the quality of life.” During the day session several presentations were performed on the impact of the problem of malnutrition with points ranging from caloric value and main principles of organization of food, as well as relationship between low life-span, infections and increase in the percentage of premature mortality and various diseases depended on food culture. Speakers of the meeting included Victor A. Tutelyan, Director of Institute of Nutrition of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, G.V. Sharukho, Head of Administration of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare and O.M. Sheveleva, Vice-chancellor of Tyumen State Agricultural Academy.
Awarding ceremony of Tyumen region was held at the end of the meeting.
