XVIII World Congress «Cardiostim-2012» in Nice

Specialists of Tyumen Cardiology Center took part in the XVIII International Congress “Cardiostim - 2012” which was held on June 13 – 16, 2012 in Nice, France. As a worldwide scientific congress in the field of electrophysiology and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, Cardiostim gathers physicians and scientists, including the most distinguished ones fr om all over the world.


Leading arrhythmologists of Tyumen Cardiology Center - Grigoriy Kolunin, Head of the Department of x-ray-surgical methods for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease №2, Vsevolod Harats, Head of the Department of complicated heart rhythm disturbances surgery and cardiac pacing, along with electrophysiologists Alexander Pavlov and Denis Belonogov participated in the congress.
According to Denis Belonogov, there were a lot of interesting presentations at the congress; special attention was paid to management of patients with implanted devices. Within the congress the exhibition of medical equipment was held wh ere the leading companies producing medical equipment and supplies presented advanced products in electrophysiology and interventional cardiology.
It should be mentioned that “Cardiostim” takes place every two years in Nice, France and has become one of the most prestigious meetings for cardiologists and electrophysiologists. This year «Cardiostim» has attracted more than 5500 participants from 95 countries.
