On June 1-2, 2012 the First International Forum of Young Cardiologists “Cardiology: from Present to the Future” was held in Samara. Young scientists of Tyumen Cardiology Center delivered oral presentations at the meeting.

According to the organizers, one of the goals of the forum was to create preconditions for the integration of young cardiologists from different regions of Russia which would allow implementing scientific, educational and other projects in the future.
Tyumen Cardiology Center was represented by scientific researchers of the Instrumental Diagnostics Laboratory Polina Shebeko and Georgy Pushkarev, and physician of the Ultrasound Diagnostics Department Nikolay Melnikov. “Participation in such conferences is especially important for me because I am preparing to defend my PhD thesis. There were many worthy presentations at the meeting. I liked it that young scientists were actively supported by their scientific supervisors”, said Polina Shebeko. A total of 70 specialists including young scientists from Germany and France took part in the conference.
