International Congress in Tyumen

II International Congress «Cardiology at a Crossroad of Sciences» in conjunction with VII International Symposium of Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound and XIX Annual International Conference «Cardiology Update» was held on 16-18 May, 2012 in Tyumen Cardiology Center.


During the three-day scientific meeting 79 oral and 59 poster presentations were delivered. There were more than 518 participants from 56 cities of Russia and 14 foreign countries.
At the end of the forum Director of the Cardiology Center, Professor Vadim A. Kuznetsov thanked all the participants and said that every year the organizers worked hard to improve scientific and organizational level of the congress. He also mentioned that the quality of poster and oral presentations delivered at the conference corresponded to international standards.
All the participants got the opportunity to exchange experience on many aspects of modern cardiology and allied fields and discuss new methods for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The congress was fruitful and successful, and participants agreed that new knowledge would be useful in their clinical practice and help to improve the quality of cardiac care.
