The Leipzig Interventional Course was held on January 25-28 in Germany. The director of Tyumen Cardiology Center Prof. Vadim Kuznetsov and the head of the catheterization laboratory № 2 Grigory Kolunin attended the meeting.
LINC annually provides specialists who are performing endovascular interventions with an excellent opportunity to discuss new methods that can be applied in daily interventional practice. Among the main topics in 2012 there were carotid revascularization, prevention and treatment of restenosis after implantation of drug-eluting stents, contemporary management of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, latest interventional techniques for chronic occlusions of peripheral arteries, innovative approaches to varicose vein treatment and others.
During 4 days of the meeting there were over 3000 participants. More than 90 live cases from 7 leading international centers of Europe and North America were presented.
