Band of Tyumen Cardiology Center wins the hearts of listeners

On 7 July 2011 the song of the Cardiology Center band The Rhythms of the Heart - “Don Juan” was played for the first time in rotation on Apriori radio station.



Andrey Prokhorikhin, an interventional cardiologist of Tyumen Cardiology Center, one of the members of the group commented on that occasion: “We decided to get out to a wide audience with this composition, because it`s the first song we wrote ourselves. The melody was composed with the lyrics written by the director of Tyumen Cardiology Center Vadim Kuznetsov. Many of my acquaintances have heard this song, and they think that lyrics and music supplement each other. And musicians say that despite the fact that the chords are not in standard tuning, the song is melodious. In the nearest future we plan to have another song recorded. We are not afraid of criticism, because it`s our first experience, and negative comments will help improve our next work.”
It is worth noting that The Rhythms of the Heart have been around for quite a long time, but in their current line-up they have been performing for 4 years. Now no special occasion in the Cardiology Center goes without the group performance. The band even has its fans already. “They have a lot of songs that “catch”, for example “Pelmeshki” and “Singapore”. I can walk and hum them all day long. The staff of the group is earnest; all the members are really talented. Together they create music that is interesting! It`s great that they managed to get their song on the radio. I absolutely support The Rhythms of the Heart and wish them further success,” shared her impressions Yulia Gorbunova, a postgraduate student at Tyumen State University.
It is worth reminding that the band consists of Victor Todosiychuk, MD, PhD, Head of the Functional Diagnostics Department (the leader of the group, guitar, drums, keyboard, and vocals); Vadim Kuznetsov, Director of the Cardiology Center (guitar, vocals); Natalia Tretjakova, cardiologist at the Functional Diagnostics Department (vocals); Andrey Prokhorikhin, interventional cardiologist (guitar, vocals); Gennadiy Shcherbakov, advertising manager (guitar, vocals) and Tatiana Turova, manager at the Medical Service Department (vocals, keyboard).
